Truck Overturns Carrying Discarded Bombs

Fri. Jul 31st 2009

Firefighters were called to the intersection of Highway J at Gerth Road for a overturned truck. Upon arrival firefighters were shocked to find a overturned trailer with bombs in the roadway and ditch. Upon contacting the driver he was uninjured as his truck remained upright. The discarded bombs had been decommissioned and were to be sold for scrap metal.
